Our Vision

The vision of the Ministry is to make physical planning of  land resources available at affordable rates to both individuals and general public.

Our Mission

To achieve this, vision, it carries out the following objectives:

  • The administration of lands within the continues of Benue State and in accordance with the provision of land use Act (cap203), 1978.

 

  • Advising Government on land policies, landacquisition, planning surveying and allocation, liaison with local Government councils to ensure smooth, effective and responsible management of lands at gross roots among others.

 

  • To register all title documents emanating from land administration exercise.

 

  • To handle the delimitation and demarcation of boundaries such as inter-District, Inter-local  Government and participate in Inter-state and International Boundary matters.

 

  • To produce all administrative and topographic maps of the state.

 

  • The responsibility for the generation of revenue from land resources.

 

  • To assess/value for compensation for the generation of revenue from land resources.

 

  • To achieve thesemission, three technical departments have created to function and realize the mission The  department on lands, survey and town planning respectively.
